Environmental Business

For a long period of time since the Meiji era, we have tackled environmental problems, such as solving the smoke pollution problem caused by copper smelting and reforestation of mountains devastated by mine development. SMM and our group companies gather together their solid experiences supported by their achievements over such a long history and the catalyst technologies they have developed through non-ferrous metal refining in order to protect, preserve, and repair the environment, such as water, air, and soil, in order for the present environment to be passed on as it is to the next generation.
