Siporex (ALC)
Siporex is a construction material developed in Sweden of Northern Europe in 1934, and Sumitomo Metal Mining Siporex Co., Ltd. introduced the technology of the material in 1962.
Siporex is used for various types of architectural structures because of its excellent functions, such as lightweight properties, fire resistance, and thermal insulating properties, and also because of its form of easy-to-install precast panels. It is also environmentally friendly as it contains no harmful substances, such asbestos and formaldehyde.

Seismic isolation U-form damper
A seismic isolation structure is used to absorb the impact of an earthquake by installing an isolator (laminated rubber) and a damper (lead damper/seismic isolation U-form damper) between the base and the building.
The isolator uses the rubber's softness caused by shear rigidity and its deforming property to cause the base and the building to slide in the opposite direction horizontally, thereby reducing the seismic force. A damper absorbs vibration energy and gives attenuation performance to the seismic isolation structure, thereby controlling the excessive relative displacement by the quake between the base and the building.
