COF (Chip On Film) technology is a chip mounting technology better fitted to use for FPD (Flat Panel Display) driver. The adoption of COF technology has been promoted in a manner of substituting COF technology for TAB tape technology and this leads to support of the high growth of FPDs. We have been developing COF technology on the basis of processing technologies accumulated for high reliability use for TAB tapes meeting the needs concentrating on the field of super computers or the like requiring high reliability since 1974. We adequately implement integrative production of high-quality products of COF from raw materials and widely supply the products through our worldwide network.
