Rare Metals

Indium

Indium
Overview
Indium is a rare metal and its application is actively being developed, with it being used for transparent electrodes (ITO), composite semiconductors, phosphors, bonding, low melting point alloys, batteries, dental alloys, etc. Its demand has been rapidly increasing in recent years. For this reason, SMM has been expanding its facilities for recovering indium, maintaining a stable supply to domestic users, and actively coping with the handling of scraps generated by users. Also, to meet the wide variety of user needs, we provide ingot as well as specially-formed products such as foils and wires and high-purity indium (99.999%).
Characteristics
Forms and qualities suitable to respective usages will be prepared.

High Purity Antimony

High Purity Antimony (shot)
High Purity Antimony (ingot)
Overview
High purity antimony and arsenicum are V family elements. They are important semiconductor materials in III-V family compound semiconductors (InSb, GaSb), Si n-type dopants, etc. SMM, as a comprehensive antimony manufacturer, manufactures various types of antimony metals and antimony oxidative products, etc., and provides products with 6N/5N purity and forms of ingot/shot depending on user needs by using our unique refining technology.
Characteristics
  1. Control up to 6N is possible due to SMM's unique refining technology.
  2. For shot/ingot
Quality
6N, 5N
Form
Ingot/shot
Applications
  1. Si single-crystal n-type dopant
  2. Material for composite semiconductors such as InSb and GaSb, etc.
