Spray Powder

Powdered Alloy for Thermal Spraying (Surfalloy)

Powdered Alloy for Thermal Spraying (Surfalloy)
Overview
The spray powder Surfalloy has been developed using SMM's unique technology. It is a hardfacing-alloy material manufactured by means of our up-to-date atomizing method, using water or inert gas after vacuum melting. It is especially resistant to abrasion, corrosion, high-temperature oxidation, erosion, and cavitation. The S series, which uses high-purity Nickel (Ni base), and the SC series, which uses cobalt (Co base), are known as the typical types. SMM supplies powdered stellite (SK series) for PTAs and plasma thermal spraying, and also a superalloy series.
